Just put my open element on

i put my edelbrock element on and i noticed a big differince. when i stomp on it, it actually goes. and im happy with this mod and it was pretty easy. i have one ? there was this pice that came with it and it goes on the bottom but i dont know what it does and the instructions didnt say anything about it and the instructions usued the same element i have. so if anyone knows thanks.

on the bottom part of the element there is a place for this. it bolts on there and the other end looks like a hose goes on the end of it.

thats for a breather. Just go to an auto parts store and get a chrome breather filter that plugs into the valve cover. Looks better and is just as functional.
