fuel filter change

ok the flow arrow is supposed to face the passenger side of the car right?? --one thats under the car, ... 3 inch long cylinder thing-- dont ask , i been breathing fuel vapors for the past 25 mins trying to get those @#$%ING nuts on ...also....was there a way i could do this where gas WOULDNT pour out the whole @#$%ING time!!! cause, my arm burns like all hell from all that gas pouring on it, sensitive skin i guess.....anyways....finally had to put a rain coat on and tie off the sleeves with rubber bands so the gas wouldnt burn my arm --gas wasnt hot--

so any tips for the next time i do this??
i seriously would pay to have this one done next time.

so anyways, FLOW arrow faces passenger side , Correct?
