The beauty/simplicity of TBI.

First: beauty has three vowels in a row thats kinda funny.

At any rate, I finally expirenced the full beauty of tbi. My friend has an 88 TA with the 305 tbi, stock ported heads, LT1 cam, 670 Holley tbi, Holley Pro-jection manifold, full exhaust. Ran like total **** with stock tuning as we all now expect. We swaped an 8746 in and within two hours of very very simple tuning (ie: data log and run Jon's aldltobin program) starting with the ANLU.bin his idle was dead straight at 550 rpm. Partial throttle was perfect, all blms were between 126-129. No more EGR, no more limiter. I had the spark table going OK but not much more than the stock anlu table which is pleanty for a lil 305 with stock compression.

We're not talking about just a little bit better, but it was like a new car for him. This is just a heads up to anyone out there not tuning their car with heads/cam/intake, its that simple. WOT isnt that fun without a wb o2, but to nail in partial throttle with Jon's program and a little bit of brains, its cake.

Just a heads up.

It takes the blm table out of winaldl logging and does the blm/128*curTableSetting calculations for you. A great time saver. Look on ftp.diy-efi.org under incomming.
