350 with TBI...and a Weiand X-cellerator?
I am looking to put my 350 into my 91 rs. The car is a 305 TBI right now and I am considering a 350 TBI setup. I have a Weiand X-cellerator intake that is a single plane. I have heard of using a TBI adaptor for carb intakes but I have not spoken to anyone running a modified TBI on a single plane intake.
so what words of wisdom can you give to a carb guy about TBI?
is the single plane gonna screw my torque more than I can make up? I am going to be running a 700R4 for now. I also have a TH350 I could use. The rear is a 3.23 but I have a 3.42 I could use also or I can pick up a 4.11 reasonably also.
What combo would you suggest for a 400-450 HP/TQ street machine?

You're not going to hit your HP goal with a GM small block TBI. Using a dual 2" bore TBI, you might be able to do it, without a huge efficiency loss...
