LT1 Questions
OK first off does anyone have a picture of an LT1 cam?
Not sure but doesnt the LT1 have the distrubutor in the front?
Do you just turn it around? When you put it in a rear distributor car. How does that whole thing work? Havent seen the LT1 cam and have not worked on one either. I am thinking about doing the LT1 cam install since i am rebuilding my LO3!

You do not put the cam in backwards. You put it in just like any other cam. The LT1/LT4 cam has a long dowel pin on the front of the cam that turns the water pump. These cams still have a distributor gear on them to use for a Gen 1 small block. You just have to shorten the dowel pin that I just described. Here is a pic of an LT4 cam. The same as an LT1 cam only bigger specs.

Here are the specs for the cam

Lift, (I/E): .476"/.480"
Lobe Separation: 115
RPM Range: Idle-4500

This is a nice cam for someone who wants something a little bigger than the LT1. Yes it is on the market along with a new timing chain, and timing cover gasket, and thermostat gasket. I wrecked the car before I could use any of this. It is all brand spankin new. PM me for further details.
