Fuel Pump advice

I'd like to purchase a new fuel pump for my '93 full-size truck. Do any of you have a problem with CFM tech's $84 in-tank replacement pump? CFM PUMP LINK

This seems to be the cheapest solution I can find. They claim a 20-25PSI just like turbo city's except cheaper. Right now my stock pump is pushing 18PSI and falling to 15PSI under heavy load. After 160,000 miles its probably ready to poop out anyways.

Any other recomendations? I don't see why their pump wouldn't work... but i had to check with you guys and make sure.

They've got a week-long waiting list tho, and i want my pump now! Does anybody know of other retailers of good 'exact in-tank replacment' pumps?

Thanks!

I don't know anything on that CFM tech one but I know that a lot of people on these boards that have changed out fuel pumps because they need more fuel than the stock pump can supply have gone with the Walbro 255. Look into that pump I think its close to that same price and has been proven to work very well by guys on this site.

My fuel lines are rusted... i mean CHUNKS of rust are falling off my fuel lines. I'm sure this isn't good for their stabilty... when i drop the tank they're probably (knowing my luck) are going to fall apart on me. Simply changing my fuel filter was a PITA because everything was fused together with rust.

I'm thinking about replacing them with some high-pressure decent-quality flexable fuel hose. Can somebody recommend what i should use? I hear going with the simple parts store "yeah its fine, it'll work" fuel hose it gets brittle and craps out fast.

Maybe use some cool looking braided silver hose to the back of the TBI, making it easy to disconnect the fuel lines.

I love my walbro, pumps great at 15psi, or 35psi. Its nice cause if you ever want to go multipoint or something it will give you the 45psi + you will need. Plus its good for like 800 hp.
