intake and other question for 305 to 350TBI swap

I need to get an intake, i just bought a 454 tbi unit. what else will i need adapters?? plugs?? stock hood

Here is what i'm working with right now

Chev 350 late model block bored 20 over
993 heads worked w/ 2.02/1.60 valves
CR 9.32
induction (still in the works)
small tube headers w/ muffler dynomax headers, catback, and SS ultraflow muffler
Cam Lunait 50143 @.050 lift .471/.480

looking at 350 HP at the wheels
Desktop dyno says HP 394 torque 440which is close enough for me.

I also have bought a 700R4 from Dana at Pro-built and also a converter. great guy very knowledgible in all areas engines and trans. sorry for my spelling.

Anything else anyone can think of i can use or need. thanks

Nick

I am pretty sure that you will have to re wire that TBI unit but it will work once you do that. I would look into getting a carb intake with an adapter plate. There are millions of posts about which one to get and keep all your EGR and stuff. You could also go with the holley TBI intake. It already has 2" bores and flows quit well from what I have read. You do have to switch to an earlier style type EGR but it is no biggy and you could always delete it in the chip.

now here is another question. since i have early style heads what is the best intake to get. I'd like a single plane manifold. i don't care about the egr. and i have no other emission stuff left on the engine besides cats. I've looked for the answer in the search but no luck everyone i saw had late type heads or vortecs. thanks for your help.

Or i can use 4bbl intake with adapter, Single plane. needs to fit a 454 TBI. hope someone can help. i've search the archives and can find an answer. Thanks

Did you chamfer or bore the intake?
