83 TA car will not idle after it gets hot(have to hold throttle open slightly to keep it running) but will when it is cold. 305 CFI bored over thirty 350 heads and intake with a 2030 comp camshaft. Every thing set to spects. Any thoughts?

 

I have an 89 RS 305 TBI... changed everything that could be possible, IAC, MAP, TPS, INJECTORS,THERMOSTAT, PLUGS, WIRES, ROTOR CAP, AND BUTTON, still won't idle after warm, or when put into gear.... I'm still working on it, if you get any helpful hints let me know.... AND IT STILL GIVES ME A CODE 12.. EVERYTHING OK,

Since I have dual TB and a IAC in each to solve my idle problem for now, I have unhooked one of the IAC with the engine cold keeping the idle up and the let the computer just control the other one. So far it has worked out great. A nice steady idle right around 700rpms. Might help you as well at least untill someone finds the cure.
