Odd TBI unit I got...
Hey guys, I haven't been on this board in about a year it seems, but I found somehting you guys might have some info about.
A buddy of mine gave me a TBI until a few days ago. It's supposed to be for a 4.3 V6 marine engine, supposibly it was a test unit or something. It's got 2" bores and a weird IAC and TPS.
Does anyone know about these units? Like what size the injectors are or what else is different?
Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I still have the 305 from my Camaro rotting away in the garage. All it needs is a new cam and lifters. I'm thinking about getting another third gen that needs a motor and putting some vortec heads, a bigger cam, and that TBI unit on it. Might make a nice daily driver.
