could a burnt spark plug wires tripin code??
hey, ive been getting code 43 "43. Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit" a couple weeks after i installed my headers, full exhaust, and full emmisions delete. i thought it would be the knock sensor so i changed it. the car was running ok for a couple hours, then when i romp on it the code tripped again, and im pretty sure the car retarded the timimng. after i installed the headers im pretty sure i damaged/burnt some spark plug wires. is it possible that damaged plug wires would trip #43? if not,,, WHAT AM I LEFT WITH HERE??? thanks.

I have the exact same situation, except I don't have headers, and I'm absolutly sure they're not touching the exhaust manifold...so I'm guessing that no, the wires don't ahve to do with it.
I could be wrong though.
I would like to know more about this too, its driving me nuts...especially sense it kinda surges sometimes trying to adjust the timing back to normal...oy.
