due the valve placement on most aftermarket heads, you very limited witha 305

World Torquer 305
and Vortec are about it.

if you are getting a new manifold, you can go with just about any head as long as the valves clear a 305. just get the manifold for the correct heads.

other populare ones are

lg4/l69/lb9 (pre87 heads)

also the lb9 heads from 87+ are centerbold. these heads respond very well to port and bowl work.

as for the nitrous. i personaly think you are better off with the TBI plate, on top of the adaptor, this way your spray patern is centered with the throttle bores. be mindful of hood clearance with both a spacer and a nitrous plate though.

cc's are not flow, the cc's of the port is the physical size of the port, the flow is measured in CFM, and no sorry i do not have the specs on teh lb9 heads

You can basically run any head you want, except the heads with 2.02/1.60 valves you can't run high lifts past .550" Some say staying safe with .450" lift with 2.02/1.60 is better but I have mocked up this setup and .550" is the safe lift. Flow may be obstruced by cylinder walls but the offset of the bigger valves hardly makes a difference. I myself run WP 305 Torquer heads and have had good success with them.
