Edelbrock makes me shift

I just got my Edelbrock intake in and the tranny won't shift to the proper gear, I have to do it my self. What could be wrong?

You probably need to adjust you TV cable. It is linked to the tranny and i believe it tells it when to shift. Maybe at wide open throttle though?
Anyway, search for TV cable or Kickdown cable. I have seen a few threads floating around that tells you how to adjust it. I think there is even a Tech Article about it.

I would think that its because your tv cable got moved and maybe is now out of whack, wish I knew how to adjust it so I could help you, but I am almost sure that the tv cable is your problem.Good luck.

Yes I agree the TV cable needs to be reset.. Move the adjuster on the cable at the throttle all the way back in, hook it all back up, and then open your throttle all the way open. and that should be it.
