Injectors for TBI

Hi, I'm looking for some injectors for my 305 TBI. I recently found some for a 350 vette engine. I was wondering if these injectors would work with my TBI. Also if I did put them in would they mess with my computer or anything else? Thanks.

If you're car is stock they will supply way too much fuel. Get some stock 305 injectors. Why are you getting new injectors?

I agree completely. Also, I didn't think crossfire injectors were compatible with 2bbl TBI set-ups. Even if they are, you would have to burn your own prom to get them to perfrom at the level that your 305 would need them to be at.

I'm just looking to get a little more power. I'm adding a fuel pressure regulator, bored out throttle body, and I wanted to get some better injectors also. What ones would be best just for a little increase?

if you are getting a FPR, why would you need new injectors? there really is no performance gain to be had. you make the most power at the proper AFR, not by dumping in fuel. giving it more fuel can be couter productive, considering that these cars ran pretty fat from the factory.

what they said. dont do it! you will notice nothing, if not poor mileage, youll junk your converter, and be changing your plugs every 2000 miles. take it from someone who has made that mistake.

Would you recommend just a fuel pressure regulator and thats all?

yes, you are not going to change the air flow of the engine much at all, adding fuel WILL NOT get you any more power. you have to add both air and fuel, in the right mixture to get power. without opening the heads/cam/exaust up, you are not going to get any more air into the engine. adding more fuel, takes up space, give you less air, and a less than ideal air:fuel ratio. like i said, it will be counter productive.

Why are you getting new injectors?

bigger injectors = less power/ fouled plugs/polluted oil/terrible gas mileage. sounds like a good idea to me !!
