ecu program

Anyone in this forum know where i can find a base program that i would use to burn a chip for my car? its a CFI. I think they are usually named .bins or something like that.

i would suggest first reading the tech article on prom burning, and then searching through the DIY-PROM forum... there is a TON on info to go through, and many many option for burners/software ect.

to find base bins, ftp.diy-efi.org is a good place to start.

I just need the Bin(s). My friend is pretty experienced with PROM burning and the software. He said if I would just get him the BIN(s) he would burn it for me.

You can jsut use the binary on the stock prom in the ecm as a starting point. Just rip it with a reader and start modifying.
