cam should i go with the lt1
ive got a lt1 cam but should i go with it im planning on getting 4.10's posi ive got full exhaust done and i got edelbrock 2'bore manifoldand a holley tbi unit on the way.also whats the most possible i could bore out the 305 block jus wondering.
also my car is automatic but im getting a manual valve body and a racthet shifter.also i need to get something done about these heads i need to get them ported or something also how would i raise the comperssion like to 10:1 becaus i hear that the stock tbis are 8:1

stock compresion is 9.3:1
you are better off getting diffrent heads, porting the stockers isn't worth it.
i will hold of on cam recomendations until you pick heads.
i also woudn't bother with machine work on a 305, if you are doing a rebuild, you might as well rebuild a 350.
with any new cam/head combo, being an auto, you are probably going to want a stall, depending on the cam you pick, you will likely be in the 2600-3k range for the stall but that will depend on your cam.
