Harmonic Damper Installer

Okay so I rented a remover from Autozone. They said it can also install the damper. Can it? I've been told NO. And I hate Autozone.

i always use the BFH.

using the HB puller, you risk stripping out the thread in the crank trying to pull the balancer on. that would bring your uprades to a grinding hult.

I used the installer tool that they loan. It worked great and i just went slow. It screws in really well and applies even pressure onto the surface of the balancer. I could not use a hammer because of the motor being in the car and my swings were only a few inches long. A little grease on the snout goes a long way when you are doing this.

I did a little of all these methods. I used the tool some, I used a bolt, with washers, spacers, etc. I got a hammer and beat it. It all worked out fine, twice now in last 6 months. Three times probably pushing my luck huh? lol
