I have a 89 RS with a 305 tbi. The cruise has never worked. I found a wire that was disconnected under the car near the transmission. I cannot find anywhere it plugs in but its only long enough to go to the end of the tranny. I'm wondering if this goes to the Cruise? Everything else on the car works fine and I tried a differant cruise switch. Or if anyone knows where I can get a wiring diagram for under the car? Thanks

 

There is a four pin connector that plugs into the transmission case near the shift lever. It goes to the torque converter solenoid.
