Finally driving the RS again
After sitting for 8 months due to a break in then storage for the winter, I was finally able to get back at it. I got home from spring break and it was running like complete **** the first night missing like hell, shifty gave me a set of old msd wires and I ended up putting on three of them and that took out the miss (three of the wires had sat on the primaries and burned up). Its still real sluggish and wants to back fire under 2200 rpm (stall territory) and my tv cable needs adjusted there's a little slack in the line, but *** damn i was goin about 10 mph and I dumped it in first then rolled onto the gas hard and for the first time ever I felt the posi get lose and I got sideways, it felt real good lighting up the 285s

Next week is 454 tbi and tuning, cant wait

chuck, i have heard a lot about you and your car from shifty... glad to hear you got it running again, isn't the actual feeling of power nice, i miss that from the L98 i used to have. getting it sideways from a stop or slow roll was tons of fun. good luck with tuning the car, from what i hear you are fairly competent(to say the least) with computers. good luck!
