Purchasing throtle plates?

I plan on boring my stock TBI unit out to 1 13/16. Anyone know where I can purchase larger throtle plates for my TBI unit?

Why such a wierd size. I would just go 2" and get it over with. It will support much more power and still be tunable.

I am pretty sure you can get 2" out of the stock one. There is a guy on ebay that does it.

1 7/8" is only 1/16th of an inch bigger than 1 13/16"

vjo90RS8: Yes it looks like I might be able to go to 1 7/8 without sleeving it. Its gona be close though. Were you able to accomplish this? I would be interested in buying throtle plates from you.

I bored mine out to 1 7/8". You will break into the vacuum passages that go to the two small holes in the trottle bores near the trottle blades. I pluged those pasages, they are for the charcoal canister which I'm not going to use anyway.

good luck with braswell, they seem to be stuck in the past a bit when i talked to them on the phone etc a few years ago... i tried buying some of their plates a while back, they dont take credit cards or anything like that, and they wanted something like 25 bucks a peice for each plate. - maybe they've changed now, looks like they found somebody who can do some nice cad work.. but i bet they're still a bit expensive.
