All with headers come in.....

I want to know who has egr problems after a header install. I put this in the tbi forum because this is a tbi egr specific question. I know out cars have an agr valve effected by backpressure, so I would assume headers play a big role in it's operation.

Yes EGR does work with the proper back pressure but there should be enough manifold vacuum to keep it functioning properly. I think people run into problems with larger primary sizes. When they get to big the exhaust pressure needed is not there and the EGR and get goofy. Any set of 1 1/2" or 1 5/8" primaries should result in normal EGR function. Are you having problems with yours?

if you run a large (for a 305) cam, a free flowing intake, and have a large throttlebody, it MIGHT play with it.

but at that point, you wouldnt have much vac for your accessories either.
