fueling is the biggest issue, if i were to supercharge mine, a 4bbl would be a for sure. on a 305 with a small amount of boost, and a boost referenced FPR or FMU, you could probably get away with a 2bbl

The easiest, cheapest way to get power is to do mods to the drive train. A budget cam, home cooked heads, gears, tuning, etc. will all do wonders for the L03. Theres no need to drop thoudands of dollars on a SC kit or anything like that to get some extra power.

Personally, I plan to use a 4 barrel MPFI setup when I get the money. One thing for sure is, getting air and fuel would not be your weak point on the car. One thing you could consider is the 2 barrel MPFI kit. That should add 25-30 extra horses or so. Doesn't cost as much as a supercharger either. Just a thought.

ok thanks, only reason i asked was i was at my auto parts store and i noticed a 4bbl TBI on display.. so i was just curious, wasnt seriously pondering purchasing one
but this mpfi kit... explain a bit plz?

Holley kit 77-144CSBE-1 is designed for 93-95 LO5 trucks, retains most stock components, including the throttle body/injectors/air cleaner, comes with multiple pulleys, and even includes a chip for 93-95 LO5s (albeit useless to us).
Just don't try this with 45pph LO3 injectors

that two barrel setup is the edelbrock kit. You should done a search. I had a huge post dealing w/ that kit. Basically, edelbrock says it wont work on a TBI car but i think they're FOS and are saying that only because it has not gotten a emissions exemption number yet for use on cars. Because the chip they send wouldn't work in our cars, you'd have to tune your own and im not sure how to tune a chip to run 8 injectors instead of two. Stick w/ TBI unless you want a real adventure
You dont need the 4bbl for your car. I can't possibly see any justification for it. That things flows something like a 1000 cfm and you definitely don't need to flow that much air. In fact, you'd probably lose enough low end torque that the car would be unenjoyable to drive on the street and you'd only see mild gains on the top end. Definitely go w/ the first step bolt ons. You'd be much happier, not to mention, you'd be going faster that way.
