i just realized something.

i remember that i read that the computer will adjust to keep a 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio, so if i got a big shot of air all of a sudden, wouldnt the computer automatically inject more fuel?

Only in closed loop at part throttle, not at WOT, which is the only time you wanna use nitrous.

hmm, maybe i can turn this into a wet kit with a nos fuel solenoid?

only problem is wiring it with the zex kit. but i bet that wouldnt be hard to do.

I don't understand why there are two tubes from the control module that Y into one tube that you say is going AWAY from the module. It doesn't make sense at all to me because I would think there would need to be one hose into it and one hose out of it for the fuel, as well as one hose into it and one hose out of it for the nitrous. That way, the controller could meter both the nitrous flow and the fuel flow. And then the nitrous-out line and fuel-out line would go into the shark nozzle and spray into the intake. That would make the most sense to me, and then the problem I would see is if the fuel pump can't handle the extra demand (the extra fuel injector of the shark nozzle) and it would start to lean out..

Wait this may be starting to make sense. You really need to get us a model number or a kit name for this thing so we know exactly what we're dealing with, but in any case...

I'm now assuming that the "regulator" and "intake" mean "fuel regulator" and "fuel intake line". It still doesn't make sense how the Y works in the drawing you have, but I'm beginning to see how this is working a little bit. If its anything like I'm thinking, then it IS a wet kit, but missing the fuel nozzle, since it doesn't appear to have a shark nozzle.

Are you sure those Y into one, and hte "intake" port isn't for a line from the fuel tank (i.e. just T it off from the fuel line to the TBI unit), and the "regulator" port isn't for a line to the fuel nozzle (or shark nozzle, pending whether it has such a device)?

Is there ANY information you have on this kit? i.e. manual, model number, anything else the guy said? That'd make this a hell of a lot easier.

Also, not to be rude, but how much did you spend on this (sorry if you posted it up top and I missed it)?

i paid 300 for the full kit with all nozzles, lines, switches etc.. just need the tbi plate.. well i thought, i have the online manual.

the intake is listed as the intake hose, which connects to the intake manifold and the regulator is labled in the manual as the regulator hose and runs to the fuel pressure regulator. i know the guy said he T'd the fitting together himself for some reason or other...

in another post i have on a different ssubject, which is turning into this same subject, it looks like im gonna need a nos fuel solenoid and run it as a wet kit.
