misfire and stalling

ok my firebird has a slight missfire or something causing it to stall or for the tach to jump around. it started about a month ago but now with my headers it is most appearent. while idling it does these random pops... bout one per second. this causes the idle to drop to 400-450 and then jump up to 700 ish...sometimes it makes it stall...it happens both in and out of gear....my only mods are open element and hedman headers with custom 3" catback. i have recently replaced my O2, my plugs, cap, rotor, and wires..no matter how much i mess with timing i cannot fix it. any ideas?

What is your timing set at? Is your fuel pump dying?

also try setting you idle, use the article in the tech article section "adjusting TPS and IAC"

Have you changed your fuel filter in the past 10,000 miles. A clogged one can make a car run fine at cruising speeds but stall it out at idle.

Check your coil next. They can go out on a whim and make your car run like real poo.
