Worth Replacing Stock Rockers?

I'm considering replacing the Rocker Arms and Valve Springs on my stock L03 heads when I put my edlebrock performer intake on. What ratio are the stock Rocker Arms...1.5 or 1.52??? Also, would putting 1.6 Rockers on really benefit me with stock heads and cam?

my car ran 2 tenths better in the quarter mile and 1MPH faster when i added 1.6 stamped steel rockers from www.sdpc2000.com ..... i think it is a good mod for the L03 if you dont want to swap the cam and get into PROM tuning just yet, but are trying to get the max from the engine. i got mine for like $70 shipping, make sure they are for centerbolt heads and self aligning, www.enginekits.com also has some that will fit our cars, they are vortec roller tipped rockers and are only $90 plus shipping, which is what i would have gotten if they were at that price when i purchased mine.

They are worth it since they add some beef to the stock cam. The stockers are 1.5 but are very sloppy. They flex a alot and are not really a true 1.5. Even a set of aftermarket 1.5's would give you more power over the stockers. I would go with some 1.6's like vjo mentioned. Depending on the mileage of your car you could possibly get away with stock springs.

on a stock! would I run into clearance issues if i used them on a 96 LT1 cam? I have new springs that are rated to .500 lift.

I would not use 1.6 rr with an LT1 can and stock heads. You would most likely have coil bind regarudless of what spring you go with. I would just use the hardware that comes with what ever set you choose to go with. Nylocks will work just fine.
