A. final answer. The stock TBI pump cannot even pump enough fluid to put out a candle.

You need way more than 13 psi at WOT. Even a stock LO3 needs about 15 PSI at WOT. Just get a high flow unit now so that when you add some more mods you will never be fuel deprived. Check out the Walbro units.

i heard that people where having probs with the 255 units in that the return was not able to keep up and then they would be stuck with 15 16 and even presure over 19 at idle that is why i am so woried about going with a hi flow pump

I would be willing to bet that the return line is not the issue but the passage in the throttle body just being to small. Now I haven't looked at it lately but if it can be inlarged for more flow the i think the bigger pump would work ok.

Type in "Walbro fuel pump" in a search engine and you should get like 70 places that sell it. Prices vary but I have seen it as low as $115.

190 ltr/hr kit

-FPG001 - $83
a.k.a. GCA701

The 190 ltr/hr pump kit has been installed in many TBI cars and trucks with excellent results. The fuel pressure regulator on the TBI engines appear to be large enough to return all the extra fuel to the tank.
