Having trouble finding a good Cold Air Intake?

Hi guys, this is my first post. I currently have an s10 in process of getting a 350 TBI in it. I frequent this site a lot as it has loads of info on these engines. Now I don't really know if its been "discovered" between you guys but the s10 boys found a way to make a CAI from a well-found GM part. I'm talking about the Cadillac TBI bonnets from early 90s 4.5 and 4.9 v8 engines. I posted a picture of the assembly on a stock Cadillac engine.
The mod is very easy to do and I'll have pictures of my setup as soon as I can. A complete how-to with pictures can be found at http://www.s10forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27017 and this is on an s10. F-bodies shouldn't be much more trouble. I did a bit more research and I was able to find the GM part numbers. That info can be found here. http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/showt...threadid=33603 Well, if you guys haven't heard of it, I hope it does you guys some good. :lala:

Check out this thread. He did a good job of mixing and matching GM parts from various makes to construct a good air cleaner assembly for a TBI motor. You will not find a true cold air intake for our type of motors. You will find a million posts on the good 'ol open element that works pretty darn good.
