TBI Adapters

I have an edelbrock performer 2101 carb intake that I'm going to buy an adapter for so I can mount my 454 TBI on it. I have noticed you can buy either a simple flat adapter plate or the adapter GM used on some of their early model 454's. Is one better than the other. It looks like maybe the gm 454 adapter has a builtin brake vacuum hookup.

The "454 adapter" is just a plate for coolant to run through. You want a flat adapter with centered bores.
