crossfire to 454 TB conversion
crossfire to 454 TB conversion
crossfire to 454 TB
Any pointers on this conversion? i will be doing late next week hopefully. i think i have all the conversion components pre purchased.
Q#1. i see fuel comes in from front of engine currently. 454 TB fuel lines are to rear of TB. should i cut incomming fuel pressure line at
frame rail and splice in new and attach to firewall or whereever? return line remains as my FP gauge and FP REG is in front of engine off
alternator bracket.
Any help greatly appreciated.

All camaro and corvette fuel lines up to 96 I think come in from the front then go to the back of the engine to the fuel rails or tbi. I wouldn't cut the hard line at all. If the exsisting system has a rubber line in it I would cut there or get some braided lines and use AN fittings to hook up where the rubber lines do. You can use standerd rubber gas line hose if you do not exceed the 25 psi rating.

thanks. that clears it up. aeroquip sells a compression fitting to splice into hard lines. i already have. plus they have push on fittings with rubber hose. 1000 psi. quality stuff. i will just make the U bend to rear of TB. no sweat.
