lowering my idle?
okay I need to lower my idle without touching the PROM... what would be the most efficient way? I'm using the stock TBI but the fuel pressure regulator is adjustable (and still fairly lean at 14psi).

is it higher then the computer is trying to keep it?
theres the trick of closing the throttle blades more... but the problem is, if say, the computer is trying to hold it at 800rpm, and you close the blades more trying to make it hold 600, the IAC is going to just open more to compensate... so you end up closing it until the IAC cant compensate, then you have it adjusted..... but instead of the IAC being centered and able to add air, it cant.. its maxxed out already..
so you stall easier...
if its higher then the ECM wants to put it, then you have a air leak somwhere and you just need to find and fix that.
