what exaclty do thesed codes mean?23,24,25,34
I flashed my codes and they came out as 23,24,25,34. What do those codes mean. I've read the code discription and all that, but I'm not that knowledgeable about that stuff yet. Can someone explain to me whats going on. Thanks. By the way, I just had an extra cooling fan added to the car along with new spark plug wires, along with getting the timing set correctly (I hope). Thanks for any help.

I think I might can help.
Codes 23 and 25: MAT Sensor temps low or high (some call it IAT sensor). Pretty much the same codes. These codes are dealing with your MAT sensor (manifold air temperature). The MAT sensor is the sensor that is located in the air cleaner assembly. I noticed in your mods list that you have an open element. Did you relocate the MAT to the air cleaner assembly, put a resistor in the connector for the MAT, or what? Double check that is connected or the electrical connections aren't loose or cut.
Code 24: VSS Sensor. The vehicle speed sensor is located in the transmission (I think towards the rear of the trans.). Make sure the connections are good and nothing is cut or loose.
Code 34: MAP Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) volts low or vacuum high. The MAP sensor is located on the top of the firewall, to the left of your distributor and to the right of the AC components. There is a vacuum line that runs from the MAP sensor to the back of the TBI unit. Check to make sure that vacuum line isn't clogged, kinked, or broken. Also check the electrical connections at the MAP sensor to make sure they aren't burned or loose.
All of these sensors may be defective, but check everything first. A lot of people just shoot in the dark (I do to) with sensors when certain problems arise.
I hope this helps!
