code 43

My car gives off a code 43 and i can't figure out why. I replace the knock sensor and ESC module and i still have problems. I noticed though that the knock sensor connector is fairly loose. Sometimes it actually disconnects itself... could this be the problem?

excuse my ignorance...

The knock sensor is one of the most crucial parts to any FI system. I would find out why the wire keeps falling off.

to put it simply... the knock sensor connector isn't connecting. Its real loose. Even when its attached to the sensor i can wiggle it around. I've been meaning to replace it but have not a clue where i can get the new wiring pigtail.

my question is could that pigtail vibrating around and causing an intermittent connection with the sensor be causing the code 43 to be tripped
