How do you lean mixture?
How do you lean mixture?
Hi all,
Kinda hoping someone could point me in the right direction when it comes to adjusting the fuel/air mixture.
It seems like my 92 RS 305 TBI is running really rich. My gas milage sucks and you can smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust.
Any help will be appreciated.

first thing to do is a tune up, replace the o2 sensor, along with plugs/wires/cap/rotor.

compression check, etc could cause a rich condition.
These cars do run a little rich, and if you cat isn't functioning, it will smell rich. to cure that, you would have to get into computer tuning.
