Car broke down. Help!
Car broke down. Help!
My crapmaro has been surging when the throttle is let off while driving for some time now. I thought it was the fuel pump craping out on me. Then today, I am driving to work, and the car starts stuttering, stumbling, and running rough while i'm going down the road. I get to work OK, and forget about it. I go to leave work this evening, and the bastard would turn over, but not start. I finally get it started, and it is stumbling, idling extremely high, shaking, hesitating, stalling out, etc. (running like the timings f-d up) I drive the car up to the parts store, and I turn it off, and when I come back out, it won't start up again, and I get it running again, but it runs like crap (has no power) I get on rivers ave. to go to parks auto, and it stalls out on me and won't crank up at all on rivers. I finally pop hood and see that I have fuel spraying in the TB, and as a matter of fact, a lot of fuel. So I notice that I'm running super rich, so rich that the unburned fuel starts to ignite in the exhaust and backfire in between the intoxicating gas fumes that are billowing out the tailpipes. I unplug one of the injectors and turn it over till it starts, due to the engine being flooded. I managed to limp it up to parks to get an idle speed control valve (30 bucks) and replace it, and it runs smoother, but the idle is still way too high. I take the valve out and spray some combustible carb cleaner in the hole that the valve screws into, to clean out the carbon, put the valve back in, and realize that the car is running so damn rich, that the only way to start it is to unplug one injector, and turn it over for a lengthy period of time. I tried driving it with the one injector unplugged, but it goes 2mph with the pedal to the floor. When the other injector is plugged in, the car floods and stalls out right away, and will not start back up again without unplugging one injector. And did I mention the car is running rich? really rich. What the heck is my problem. Its a throttle body 305. I will apreciate any and all help/ideas/comments at this point as I have no money to spend on it right now. Help!

A few data logs would help imenesly for your case. i would pay attention to your map readings. Start with the obvious first though. Check all of your vacuum lines and make sure they are not cracked or dissconnected. Pay special attention to your map sensor. You may want to check to see if your retrun line is clogged. This is not a typical problem by any means but I have heard of it happening.
