couple questions here...

okay, i hooked up my vafpr about a week ago, i have to pressure adjust to around 11 psi at idle, and about 15 at wot. so when im cruising, should my gas milage be better? because it is horrible now......another thing, i threw a code yesterday day, and i tested it, and it flashed code 32, egr...for the time being, i plugged the vacuum line so it will at least idle smoothly, untill i go get a new egr valve, or find out whats wrong with it. should i be okay with it plugged off for a few days?

Whenever you increase the fuel pressure you introduce more fuel into the TBI. I hope you know where I am going with this. Try to lower it a bit and see what happens. You should be okay with a plugged EGR for a few days but fix the problem soon. EGR is actually a good thing and can be one of the reasons why your mileage is pooey.

okay, cuzz at 11 psi idle, it should be running lean, only it smells extremely rich, i have adjusted to pressure about 5 turns out, which should be 2 psi less, and its not soo bad, but i will get the egr vavle and see how that goes, thanks for the help

Are you sure your egr valve is bad? I thought if you unhooked it from the vacuum source and the engine smoothed out that it was the egr soleniod or an electrical problem.

im not sure right now, im gonna take it off tommorow and check it out....it acctually didn't smooth out that well. at first it would idle up and down, then i plugged the vacuum, and it it idles smooth (somewhat) but it tends to stall a little in gear.
