New board member...

hey guys i just registered for the boards here after being a member of the f-bodyhideout forums for almost a year now. my car is obviously a 1992 RS that i picked up last summer. all the previous owner did to it was put in an open element filter and a dynomax muffler. it runs good now except that there is a problem with the thermostat which means the engine runs at less than 120 degrees even in the summer heat. i don't drive it much cuz i lost my license till december (i don't blame anyone but myself ), but in about a month i'll be towing it to wyotech with me when i go to school there. i plan on using it as my project car and keeping the same engine block and tbi style injection and see what kinda power i can get out of it . i'm not looking to get HP as much as i am TQ out of it well guys i'll get some picks later but other than that i'm just glad to be a member of your HUGE message forums :hail:

Hey welcome abaord. I am sure your wyotech partners will laugh at you for sticking with TBI but don't let them get to you. You have the best resource on the web for TBI mods and tuning. With this site you can literally do anything to your car and get the best help possible.

Hey whats up, Im in the same boat you are because i lost my liscence last feb. and wont get it back till this feb. Its kinda nice though because you dont have to worry about getting your car back together by the end of the weekend and the money you save on gas goes right into your car.

i do save on gas and insurance, and i've got enough friends with cars so i don't have to worry about being stuck somewhere. the only i hate though is that ALL my friends suck at driving...
