using the tbi distrib for carb swap????
Just wondering if i can run the tbi distrib if i do a carb swap to hold me over until i can pick up an msd pro-billet... I heard somewhere i can just @ full-throttle i wont have any advance.. let me know guys

You'll still get advance only it will all come in at once and you get 20deg over what you set it too at idle. It's actually a pretty good setup for the guys who want to lock out the spark advance on harry race motors.
uhm you can use it just fine, just leave your ecm in and map sensor connected. You will of course have to burn chips to get a better spark curve than the stock one. I ran a carb on my setup with the 7747 ecm running spark for 2 years

really. so it will idle fine and junk??? pablo do u think u could burn me a chip? im running an edelbrock 600cfm carb all choke junk removed... im junk concerned about idle quality and stuff like that, if u guys say it will run, then im going to go forth with the swap
