TBI Fuel pressure regulator Block-off Plate

I need to make a TBI block off plate... Does anyone know what kind of gasket material to use? I am stumped. I tried a paper material, but it just leaked all over the place.

If anyone has any tips i'd greatly appreciate it.
I am trying to get my aeromotive bypass regulator working correctly.

THANKS!!

PS. If anyone is dumping a TBI 220, I'm interested. I need to make a boost friendly one.

I used the original diaphragm with the center cut out.
