OK guys, I know I am beatin a dead dog to death here, but.....
My brother is looking into a camaro with the LO3. We have access to a carbed 350. He would rather keep the TBI, cause it gets damn cold in the winter here, and he likes FI. Now here is where it gets interesting. What would really be required for this to run, and what would be needed for it to run good? I know that he definately needs a 350 knock sensor. That is a must. Will this engine run with the 305 injectors and prom? How will it run? Will he definately need a 350 prom and injectors? We were hoping to make the swap cheap, as the LO3 has a definate bearing issue. Any help would be appreciated, and I will apologize if this is a reoccurring redundant topic.

He will need 350 injectors and a new chip. You are right on the knock sensor. You can pretty much re-use everything from the 305. Sure the exhuast, heads, cam, and intake suck but I am know you are aware of that. Running the 350 on the 305 injectors and PROM will cause you problems. You will not be happy with the results. I am sure you know that there is no better way then to burn your own chips. If you just want the thing to run, knowing you are leaving performance out of the equation, you could consider a cop car chip or equivalent. We really don't like to recomend that though since it is just not worth it in the end.
I have another question for you shifty, what is the difference between the truck and car computers and chips, just out of curiosity. This will be my first venture into TBI for performance purposes. I do know though, as in all EFI apps, burning your own chips is the best way to go.
What is this about the ESC? thanks for the help, BTW.

You might be able to get away with the 305 injectors if the 350 is mild. I'm still running stock injectors on my 305 with 15 psi fuel pressure that is doing about 265 hp at the crank. So if the 350 is puting out 250 hp or less you could get away with it.
Awesome guys, thanks for the help. I must say, the TBI board must be the best one here. No one bickering, and everyone trying to help. I guess we will pick up the chip, knock sensor, injectors for sure.

I would recommend getting that ESC Module as well.
When it comes down to it, the PROM is the biggest pain in the ***. I've been screwing around with mine for 1 1/2 months and it's still wrong. I tell you what, if anybody says buy some big block injectors, don't do it unless you're a PROM burning ***, because it's the biggest pain to get that thing to idle.
