edelbrock intake, noticeable difference?
I need to replace my intake manifold because I f***ed mine up(long story) so I need to replace it. I have a bone stock lo3, will I feel a difference with the edelbrock intake or should I just get a used stock one? I am not trying to make my engine a monster or anything just figured if I am going to replace the manifold anyway is it worth it to go aftermarket? also ignore the money factor, I dont really mind spending $230 if I will feel the difference

I'm in the middle of swapping one on right now, so I can't say for sure how much power you will gain off the bat. But if you have to swap and you have the cash you might as well go aftermarket. If you plan on doing more mods down the road the stock intake will just be a restriction.

The butt dyno felt a slight upper rpm gain but I have no track times to back it up. The stock intake can support the stock heads and cam. Adding an intake now won't really gain you anything. It will down the road though.

Yeah, I'd say you probably won't feel all that much with just the intake. But, I definitely think it's worth getting now as long as you have to change manifolds. Then, get some headers and full exhaust down the road and you'll feel a much bigger increase with the intake.
