Q about 454 TBs

I have a 84 Vette that is currently undergoing a head and cam swap. I also have the infamous XRam (no basing please I have limited options). I am contemplating slapping a 454 TB on top of the Weiand manifold that comes with the XRam but I can not find any info on the pinouts of a 454 IAC or TPS. Would anyone happen to know a good source for info on the pinouts?

Thanks.

* I guess I should have read closer. I did find the pinouts for the IAC but nothing on the TPS.

Ton's of info here.

sorry returned yesterday. point of interest is that the howell is only 1/2 thick. thinnest i could find. it did offset the TB about 3/16 inch. again fuel distribution related? or is offset for linkage?

That offsets a real pain. Ideally you want the tbi to be centered so there arnt any problems with the linkages. I can tell you first hand that the fastest way to ruin a trans is to screw up the TV geometry.

you don't screw up the geometry if you have a mounting point you can move with the TBI That's how I got around it.

Thats fine, but not everyone may know that you cant change it by moving the tbi but keeping the stock mount. Like you said, as long as teh relationship doesnt change, the tbi can be wherever you want it.

another issue with moving the TB further front would be that them cables get rather tight

the holley projection TBI manifold was a straight bolt on with GM 454 TB. needed to mod the holley throttle bracket a bit but the linkage was perfect.
