Cam Recommendation Plz

I'm wondering what the reputed BEST flat tappet cam is for a TBI 350.
I'm looking at the countless grinds that Comp and Crane have to offer between 204 and 212deg @.050 intake dur. And I'm also considering some truck grinds.
I haven't ruled out the other brands, but so far I'm overwhelmed with the choices from just those two companies.
If someone has any info on a particular cam that stands out above the rest, I'd like to hear about it.
Once again this is for a 350 with flat tappet.

Thanks Guys

Whats the application? You profiles lists a TPI 305, I assume its not in that. the small duration cams would be alright in a truck, don't belong in a performance application (i'm running a bigger cam than the one you listed, in my 305)

I'm asking on the TBI board cause TBI guys seem to be familiar with the smaller grinds. I just need a smallish flat tappet cam that's smog friendly and gives good fuel economy for a 350 that I'm building up.
I thought there might be some good inside information to be found here.
It's my "substitute engine" I'm going to probably use it for a variety of apps while I'm doing more serious buildups for my car or truck.

[Manditory "if your thinking of using this with tpi" remark

If youve got a stock tpi then steer clear of the smaller grinds. You want something thats well matched to your tpi. Get a cam that has a peak torque of around 3000-3600 rpms, or where ever the tpi intake resonates at. That should complement your tpi system well and help the two to work together.

The tpi system performs poorly outside of the areas that its tuned at since its not the greatest flowing thing out there. If you get too small a cam the car wont make much power at all. The tpi will fight the cam down low and the cam will fight the tpi in the middle and both will suck up top. If you use that grind then itll be another one of those 180 HP pigs.

Oh, get rid of those damn heads! Get a set of L98 heads for your motor before you park your tpi on it.]

If this is for another non-resonance controlled application, then the 204 will be very nice with the stock heads. I think the comp cams XE256 would work better, though.

EDIT: I have the edelbrock performer 204/214 in my 350 and it works well with my smog heads, but the advertised duration is too large and it causes problems with my low CR at low engine speeds.
