416 heads?

416's are older style heads, same thing as tpi heads, just perimeter valve covers, and center intake bolts arnt angled like the 87-up. The came on LG4 and L69's.

If you can find 305 TPI (081) heads from 87 on up I would go for those. They are the same head as the 416 but are more of a direct bolt on. You can usually get them for the same price but aren't quite as available as the 416's.
