are the 083 any good these are the 350 tpi heads?
could i use them on my 305? i dunno what comp i would get...
could i mill them to get 9 to 5 or 10 to 1 comp....
other wize i might grab a set of the 081's
heres my next qustion....
LT1 or ZZ4 cam.... With that in mind....
would i need screw in studs? or whatever
what would be a good cam to run with those heads
They will be ported.... What's a good combo?
Im going to top this all off with a Victor Jr. intake....

Go with 081's, same flow characteristics as 083's but smaller chambers to keep compression up.

Intake is overkill, I think, not a good match for the setup.

Get the valve guides clearanced for the lift of a bigger cam (LT1 lift might be ok though)

Cam: LT1 if you're a beginner prom tuner, ZZ4 if you have a good handle on tuning proms, no cam change if you can't tune.

Probably safe with pinning the studs with either of those cams.
