Please Help me with my TBI

I have a 89 Camaro with only 49,500 miles. It was running great but.......... dreadfull but now it has a hard time starting and when it starts it runs fine for the 1st min or so when the idel is in higher RPM (1K-1700) but then it starts to bog down and eventually die. If I start it and just go I am good for a half or quater mile then it just starts actin screwey. In low RPM (500-2K) if i try to accelerate at any respectable rate it has a total loss of power and it nearly dies. once i get it going above 2K it is usually okay as far as power and stumbling go. Sometimes it will still feel like it only has maybe half of the normal power if i get on it. I have all the service records for it and no sign of previous problems in those. I changed the fuel filter and that did nothing to help. I also cleaned the throtle body with carb cleaner to get rid of any carbon depositis so it is shiny new lookin now. My friend said that my injectors need to spray like a hair spray pump and they are not i put Lucas injector cleaner in the gas on this last fill up but still no help with about 50 miles out of the tank so far. It has thrown code #44 and the plug i checked definatly looks like it is runnin lean to agree with the code but the SES light dont stay on it only comes on maybe 5% of the time i am drivin it PLEASE HELP !!!!!

How long has it been since the vehicle's had a good tune-up? Could you elaborate a little bit on what it does look like when the injectors are firing?

Have you checked the fuel pressure? It should be 9-13 PSI (don't forget to check it while driving the car, not just idling in park). I'd also check the resistance of injectors, they should be 1-2 ohms. I think your problem is definitely fuel-related.

This is what i have in the service records: at 36,500 the EGR valve was replaced due to it throwing a code 32, At 32,200 the PCV valve was replaced along with the plugs. this was in 1997 but only 13k miles. When the injectors spray it isnt a mist it is hard to explain sorta misty but it is also like there is something cloggin it a little bit and when it goes to die and i rev the motor it sounds like air is coming through the fuel lines. I was just out running the car trying to see if i could see anyting and in the drivers side barrel when i reved it a white liquid was spraying out of the injector along with the gas it was weird cause it didnt shoot down but to the side more and sprayed on the top next to the barrel any ideas

I would check your fuel pressure, run some injector cleaner, and do pugs/wires/cap/rotor. see where that gets you.. Also, double check the timing.

I'd have to say do a basic tune up as well. If you can't do that. Then double check all the iginition leads are connected and your plugs arn't wobbling about in the heads. That kind of stuff happens and is easily overlooked when we start thinking it must be something complicated. It does sound like lack of fuel/ignition.
Could be the fuel filter?
32k to 49k is nearly 5 pcv changes if your doing them on schedule so swap that out. There $3 or so.
failing all that drop it into some chain garage and get a fuel system cleaner and tuneup for $120.
good luck

Check for water in your gas, this will give you all kinds of trouble. Put a couple bottles of gas dry in the tank and see if that helps any. Is your charging system working well. If the battery voltage drops below 11volts or so it will also run bad. I hope you figure it out soon.
