I can't get my tbi 350 to pass emissions. i put my scanner on it and it reads like this.Sensor Idle 2500 2500 gauge reads 210 degrees

These are the specs that i got with engine off key on the Tps
reads idle .62
quater 1.95
half i get a side ways triangle and it reads .00 up to .99 then goes to 3.00

The emission i fail on is hc the spec is 200 and last time i took it i blew a 400 before that it was almost 800 need help thanks.

 

Well your BLM of 108 means you're running pretty rich. Sounds like your tune is off. Is this a stock motor, or a 350 swapped in a thirdgen?

 

Got the car from a friend he said the motor was out off a 89 fullsize blazer with about 16000 on it. The only mod is headers.

 

Ok but is it in a thirdgen right now? What's your car. What was the original motor that came with the car, 305 TBI? If that's the case you are goign to need to make changes to the PROM chip to correct your fueling.

 

The computer and all of the needed componets were put in the car form what i was told. I think the car is a 89

 

so ifound that the # 8 cylinder wasn't fireing cause teh plug was covered in fuel and when i pulled it a cloud of smoke kind of like fuel evap came from the tbi. I just gave the thing all new parts hope it helps any other ideas please help
