I have a fuel pump that flows 16gal/hr at 50psi. For a TBI car (running at 12-15psi, right) how much horsepower would that pump support.

I need to feed an LO5 that wont be very stock in the near future.

its a napa part and says 16gal @ 50psi.
Do i need to buy the kit to replace my pump, or can i just buy the pump itself?

 

Why wouldn't you save a little money and go with a Walbro ? Alot of members here use their pumps with good sucess.

The 190lph kit (which is plenty for TBI) is only $83

I cant order a walbro because i need to order it through NAPA (our shop's supplier). I figure it should be just enough.

12x16gallons~200hp @50psi
so it should support at least 300hp at 15psi?

Does anyone know if i would need the pump or the kit as well?
