hey guys, i just reacently got my car running but have been having trouble with it. it idles really rough and dies. after i turn the car on and shift into drive it immediatly dies. it will not run or stay on in drive while at a redlight unless i let it warm up atleast 5 minutes first. also its idle is erally high like 2k on park and drops down to about 800 on drive. i think its running rich because if it starts dyin and i rev it really high a huge cloud of black smoke comes out of my tail pipes. ive replaced the iac and coolent temp sensor(it was broken and affectin the idle) but its running the same. its possilbe my mechanic accidently switched the tbi of my 305 for one of a 350, any way to tell them apart? if thats not the problem then any other suggestions? i plan to change the spark plugs tomorrow any idea how i should gap them? well any help will be appricated.
