Does anyone know what is the idle rpm's would be for a stock 89 TBI. Mine idles solidly at 500. Is this normal? My two GTA's 87 and 88 with 350 TPI always seemed to have a a higher idle. Don't get me wrong, my TBi is in perfect running order, just wondering if its normal to idle soo low. Never stalls or sputters.

 

Yep. Stock tbi idles pretty low.

 

yea my 88 formula idles about 700-500 rpm
