Intake

I read some things on here about intakes. And was with a ported tbi wat was wrong with the stock inkake being ported also? Or mabey going with a carb intake and a adaptor? I donno you guys really got me messed up now but let me know what you all think.

Carb intakes with an adapter plate are a very common mod with the TBI crowd. Porting the stock one only leaves you with worn bits and sore hands. Improvements can be made but it is often not worth the minimal gains that you get. Take a few minutes of your time and read the stickieis above that cover basic TBI info. I would also recomend the search function. You should find plenty of info regarding carb intakes with adapter plates.

Shifty is right. There is GORDES of info on everything you are looking for. I'm confident if you look for it you will find it, so I'm gonna shut this one down to cut down on redundunt posts...
