A simple injector test???
I have just replaced the two injectors with a matched pair and new bored throttle bodies. I have also made the fuel pressure modification mentioned elsewhere in this forum. I am sure I have an electrical problem that is causing the injectors to now not get 12v or any pulse signal whatsoever.
However, it would be re-assuring to eliminate the injectors themselves as a problem Can I perform a simple test while eveything's installed on the car...apply 12 volts to the green wire or the blue wire (12v) at one of the injectors while the car is cranking and fuel presssure exists. I need so see if fuel will spray independent of the computer's command. Please tell me this is as simple as I'm making it sound.
It's a '92 Camaro 5.0 engine with TBI
Thanks

You can measure the resistance. IIRC, its something like 1.2 ohms for the coil. You can also momentarily apply 12 volts to the coil in the injector and see if each injector opens. One pin in each injector connector should have +12 volts with the key on. If not, then the problem is electrical, and not with the injectors or the ecm.
